The Department for Business and Trade has announced just today they are delaying the duty to inform workers of their right to join a trade union from 30 October 2026 to January 2027.
Why have they left it to the last minute to tell us??? Don’t they appreciate what efforts employers have to go to (and have gone to already) to get HR systems and training ready for this?
